How does the Google Drive connection work?
It is a standard Google OAuth sign-in: you connect the account or the folders you choose, and the files appear in your EqualWeb dashboard with scores, reports and one-click remediation. There are no keys or projects to create, and you can revoke the connection at any time from your Google Account security settings.
Can we see which PDFs are publicly exposed?
Yes, instantly. The connection detects every file shared publicly - one query answers "which of our PDFs are exposed to the internet", which is also the strongest signal for legal prioritization.
What happens to links and sharing when a file is remediated?
Nothing breaks. In-place replacement keeps the same file ID, the same sharing settings and the same links - and the original is preserved as a Drive version you can restore for free.
